New Year, New You

Happy New Year!!

For many years, I have made a New Years' resolution to become healthier, lose weight, and exercise more. Every year, I start off with a renewed mindset and 30 days later, well, I find myself back into my old mindset.

Last year, yep, you guessed it, I made the SAME New Years' resolution but NEVER followed through until May. My oldest daughter, Taylor, whom Taylor Made Organics is named after, and who is getting married in October, bought me a Fitbit for Mother's Day. When I first got it, it was good but it beeped at me a lot because I wasn't getting my required steps per hour. 

In June, when my three kids, soon to be son-in-love, and I took a mini-vacation to the beach, it required me to walk a lot each evening when we would go to dinner. I managed to get 10,000+ steps per day, YIPEE!

After a few days, I began to feel better. Like, much better. I had more energy and over-all, I felt better. So when we came home, I was determined to walk every day, 10,000 steps or more. Six months later, I've lost 60 lbs and have more energy now that I've had in YEARS!

Why do I tell you all this? I've always been careful about what I put on my skin but NEVER what I put into my body. Both are crucial and important to slow aging and look your best even at 80 years old.
