So this is the second time I bought this shampoo. I have had hair loss for a year now. I can't tell for certain if it's helping because I'm using a scalp oil as well. But I am growing baby hairs back so 🤷🏼♀️. While using the first bottle, I wasn't sure I liked it at first, because it felt like my hair would be flat and greasy the next day. (I have fine, thin hair that gets greasy easily.)
But it seemed like my hair slowly adjusted and worked well. I don't feel like it cleans out my natural hairspray or styling creme super well, so I use another shampoo first, then use this as a second wash. Which I am totally okay with.
I will also note that I didn't buy the conditioner to go with this since I have another natural one I'm using up. I would probably see even better results using both.
The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I'm not sure if I love the new formula. I see now that if you look under "ingredients" it says it's a new formula, but I do wish it had been a little more obvious since I don't usually look at the ingredients when reordering things. The new shampoo looks more white than the old one did. The new bottle is way more "burny." By that I mean the Peppermint seems stronger and gives more of that tingly feeling. Not too bad, just it tingles anywhere it touches (hands, forehead, scalp). It also doesn't lather as well as the first bottle did.
Overall, I like this stuff and it does seem to be helping. So give it a try! (Also, Taylor Made chapstick is THE BEST I've ever used of natural chapstick!)
