Cold & Sinus self-care tips

Ahh, the dreaded cold and sinus season. From stuffy noses and uncontrollable drainage to body aches and restless nights. I don't think anyone enjoys this season.

This is why we created therapeutic products taylor-made for your cold & sinus season with our Cold & Sinus line. No matter what issue you are facing or where you might be, we have you covered.

Let's talk about ingredients.

This is why we created therapeutic products taylor-made for your cold & sinus season with our Cold & Sinus line. No matter what issue you are facing or where you might be, we have you covered.

Take Peppermint for instance. Peppermint is known to give a cooling and warming effect on the skin, but it has another essential value. It increased oxygen levels. When your nose is stuffy and you can't breathe well, your oxygen levels decrease a little due to the congestion. Peppermint helps break the barrier to relieve congestion while stimulating oxygen.

Eucalyptus on the other hand works in a similar but different way. It relieves tension, relaxes inflamed tissues or muscles, and provides relief from sinus pressure or overworked muscles hurting from coughing nonstop.

I guess you can see now that we didn't just through a bunch of essential oils together to sell you. We were intentional about each and every ingredient.

Cold & Sinus Line

Over the years our Cold & Sinus line has grown from a single salve to a bath soak, bath bomb, shower steamer, and aromatherapy roller. We intentionally thought about you and your needs when creating a therapeutic line to be used for the whole family and while on the go.

Bath Bomb or Bath Soak is great to relax if your body is aching or your sinuses are congested.

Shower Steamer - if you are a shower person and not a tub soaker then this is perfect for you. Simply place the steamer near the water drain or on a shelf and allow the water to hit it indirectly. Once the water hits it, the ingredients will activate. Salve is great to rub under or in your nose, cheekbones, chest, or forehead. It can be kept on your bedstand or in your purse. The best part is, it is safe to use on infants and children.

Aromatherapy Roller is a handy little bottle. When you are at work and your sinus ache or congestion increases, simply roll the oil under your nose, cheekbone area, forehead, and wrists. Inhale the aroma and feel the relief begin.

And don't forget your supplements.

Clients ask me this question often and I have to chuckle. Even though I created a therapeutic line of skincare and makeup products, there are simple things we can't overlook and that is within.

Yes, many skin issues can be addressed with topical products, but some have to be addressed internally as well. Boosting your immune system to combat a cold or sinus congestion is one of them.
