Fall Giveaway - enter now

Hey y'all,

It's fall y'all! TO celebrate my favorite season, we partnered with, North Mountain Candle Co. to bring you a falltabulous giveaway.

Who is North Mountain Candle Co.?

There once was a young girl, who loved candles very much. So much so, that she decided to try her hand at making some for Christmas presents one year. That's where our story begins...

Hi! I'm Callie Altman, the owner of North Mountain Candle Co. That young girl? That was me!

Nowadays, I am the busy wife to Mark, mama to Mason & Easton, and the chief chaos coordinator here at NMCC.

When I'm not in the candleshoppe, you can find me in an ambulance where I work part-time as an EMT for our local fire department.

HOW DID I GET HERE?

That's a great question friend! I made my first candle fifteen years ago when I found myself as a newlywed on a super tight budget with a really long holiday shopping list.

I had always loved candles & hopped on the internet to "learn" how to make some to give as gifts. Boxes of supplies were strung from one end of my kitchen to the other and after a few rounds of experiments, I had a finished product ready to give to my friends & family.

Much to my surprise, they loved them! And before I knew it, they were asking for more! So over the course of the next year, those experiments in my kitchen transformed into a little business in my basement. And as they say, the rest is history!

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We don't have to go very far to find inspiration for our products. When you're surrounded by the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains, all you have to do is look outside your window!

Our candleshoppe is located in the picturesque town of Buchanan, Virginia. My goal as an artisan is to share a little bit of my heaven here on earth with my customers - one product at a time. That's why almost all of our fragrances have been influenced by some of the beauty you'll find here in Southwest Virginia.

100% Soy based candles

Our 8 oz Mason Jar Candles make the perfect farmhouse accent to any room. We only use 100% soy wax made from soybeans grown here in America. Each candle is poured into an adorable square mason glass jar complete with a galvanized metal lid. All of our fragrances are phthalate-free & blended with all natural essential oils. We only use lead free, cotton & zinc core wicks.

Every single one of our products is hand poured, in small batches, in our cozy candle studio located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia.
