Our story begins in 1997, with a simple diaper rash. As a mother seeking natural solutions for my daughter's sensitive skin, I embarked on a journey that would eventually lead to the creation of my own skincare business. Juggling the demands of motherhood with the passion for creating clean, effective products, I poured my heart and soul into this venture, always trusting that God's timing was perfect.
A Mother-In-Law's Wisdom and Seeds of Faith
Over the years, my business grew alongside my children. My mother-in-law's words, though initially challenging, became a source of encouragement. She reminded me that the right time for expansion would come, and until then, I focused on raising my children, honing my craft and investing every penny back into the business.
A Divine Nudge and a Pandemic Pivot
In 2019, God's gentle nudge led me into the world of makeup. Inspired by my daughter's experience with traditional mascara, I embarked on a new venture, despite the financial risks and the looming uncertainty of the pandemic. Yet, even amidst the challenges, God had a plan. We pivoted to producing hand sanitizer, providing essential support to our community during a time of need.
Heartbreak and Healing: Finding Refuge in Work
2022, the year of "breakthrough," also brought profound sorrow. My father's illness and passing, coupled with my son's health struggles, cast a dark cloud over our lives. Work became a sanctuary, a place where I could channel my grief into something positive.
A God Encounter: Discovering Public Square
On a family trip to Tennessee in October 2022, fate led us to Public Square. Their values resonated deeply with our own, and I submitted our information, unaware that a divine "breakthrough" was already unfolding.
The Breakthrough: A Floodgate of Blessings
In March 2023, amidst the ongoing challenges, Public Square reached out. Their desire to feature our liquid mineral foundation marked the beginning of an incredible transformation. We expanded our team, forged partnerships with other Public Square businesses, upgraded our shop, and launched new projects. The breakthrough God had promised was finally here.
