The directions say use a little bit, but you need to use a lot to make sure you get it all over your scalp. It does not suds up, but I believe it is helping. So it will get expensive because of the amount you need to use.

As a senior (80) my hair has gotten much thinner in the front on top over the last several years. Getting a perm used to help, but not so much any more & the hair loss when I shower is very noticeable. Because I'm not real active, or do anything that requires showering every day, my hair washing is usually 2-3 X per week. Since I started using this shampoo, I've noticed that there is less hair loss after washing & less when I comb out (short hair), & it looks like there is a bit more thickness. I really like how it makes my hair feel, stimulating my scalp & will continue to use it. Thanks for a great product!
This shampoo is my answer to clean my bald Alopecia Areata scalp! And it does relieve the itching associated with the interior inflammation at the follicles. My scalp feels SO clean and with a nice not overwhelming mint.scent.
